Spicy Cabbage with Mandarin Oranges The concept of fruit with hearty vegetables like cabbage is something I think should be done more often. Experiment with other combinations. Makes 4 Servings |
|
Ingredients: 3 mandarin oranges 1 tablespoon chile oil or 1 chile pepper sautéed a few minutes in 1 tablespoon canola oil 1 pound red cabbage, shredded 2 tablespoons sherry vinegar or 1 tablespoon each sherry and red wine vinegar 2 tablespoons sugar Kosher salt to taste Cayenne pepper to taste | |
|
