Spaghetti with Marinara Sauce


Ingredients:

1 pound spaghetti
1 jar Tony Tantillo Sicilian Style Smooth Marinara Sauce
2 teaspoons dried parsley
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon dried oregano
1/2 teaspoon dried basil
1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper
1 1/2 tablespoons capers
1 pinch crushed red pepper flakes (optional)


Instructions:
1. In a large saucepan, combine Tony Tantillo Sicilian Style Smooth Marinara Sauce, minced garlic, parsley, garlic powder, salt, oregano, basil, and ground black pepper. Add capers and crushed red peppers if desired. Bring to a boil.

2. Lower heat and simmer covered for 45 to 60 minutes.

3. When simmering time is almost up, put spaghetti in a large pot of lightly salted water and cook al dente.

4. Toss spaghetti with cooked sauce. Serve warm

Makes 8 Servings.
